Barbara J. Milton, 79, of Bellefonte, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Centre Care. Born on December 2, 1945, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Eileen Mae (Rote) Lee. On June 6, 1965, she married her beloved husband, Cecil E. Milton, who preceded her in death on November 21, 2006, after sharing over 41 years of marriage together.
Barbara was a 1963 graduate of Bellefonte Area High School. She worked as a secretary for Sutton for several years before leaving to stay at home with her family.
She is survived by her two sons, Ernest J. Milton, and Eric R. Milton (Kim) of Arnold, Maryland, six grandchildren, Tierney, Shaundrey, Katelyn, Kody, Kylie, and Jacob, and numerous great grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, Tom Roberts (Sally) of Milesburg.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Gayle Garety.
Barbara enjoyed crocheting, working on puzzles and crafts. She loved baseball and was an Elvis enthusiast. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family. She leaves behind countless memories that her loved ones will cherish for years to come.
Burial services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.
