Dortha E. Weaver, 66, of Warriors Mark, went home to be with her Savior on Friday, May 1, 2026. Dortha was born on July 13, 1959, to the late David C. and Lenora (Wiles) Moore. On February 14, 1980, she married Randy Weaver, who survives at home after sharing over 46 years of marriage together.
Dortha is survived by her daughters, Jody Emel (Chris) of Port Matilda and Julie Weaver (Jason) of Coventry, New York, and her grandchildren: Kyle, Joshua, and Lindsey Emel of Port Matilda, Brittany and Curtis Poss of Coventry, New York. Also surviving are her siblings, Carol Freeland, Hilda Putnam, Robert Moore and Albert Moore.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Marlene Ellersick and Darlene Reigle.
The Weaver family would like to extend their most heartfelt gratitude to the home health care and hospice nurses for their compassionate care shown to Dortha and Randy. Their value is immeasurable.
Per Dortha’s wishes, there will be no public services. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.
