“As somebody with small children who’s new to the area, it’s very important to have community gatherings,” Alycia Demayo says. “It was a pleasant surprise when we moved here. People like to stay at their houses, so it’s great to have events like this to get out and meet people.”

Streets that are typically lined with Hondas and Nissans were instead displaying classic Mustangs, flashy Bel Airs, powerful Chargers, and throwback Ferraris. “I like any kind of muscle car. I like them all,” Randy Fohringer says. “I grew up in that era. It keeps you feeling young.”

“I’m a huge supporter of the Friends and Farmers Cooperative, who are sponsoring the event today,” says Dan McKenrick. “I’m just a big supporter of local farms and I wanted to come out and see what our community has to offer and participate in it.”
