Ferguson Township police announced on Wednesday afternoon that the woman whose body was dumped on the roadside has been identified as 35-year-old Corinne Pena, a resident of the Philadelphia area.

Ferguson Township police believe that the dead woman found along Plainfield Road in Pine Grove Mills was dumped out of a vehicle and abandoned there.

State College police are looking for two women who allegedly stole a wallet on a CATA bus this past Saturday, Feb. 13. Officers were called to the Nittany Mall when a woman reported that her wallet was taken on the “M” bus.

A man was inadvertently locked inside the Subway restaurant located at 100 S. Burrowes St. according to State College police. They said that he damaged property inside the restaurant at approximately 5:41 a.m., although it is unclear what he did for the prior hour.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory in State College that is in effect from 5 p.m. Monday to 7 a.m. Tuesday. There are forecasted snow accumulations of two to four inches over this period, with a tenth inch of ice accumulations.

Ferguson Township police announced on Sunday that they found a woman’s body on the side of Plainfield Road’s 500-block in the early hours of the morning. The department has since made it clear that the identity of the woman is currently unknown.

While police don’t believe this latest incident is related to the murder of 60-year-old Jean Tuggy, they did find another dead woman in the township at 3:20 a.m. today.
