Downtown State College will host its annual Christmas tree-lighting celebration from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday at South Allen Street and College Avenue.
The celebration is expected to include an appearance by Mrs. Clause, caroling with Dan and Gala, and musical performances by the Broadway Show Kids and the Friends School Peace Choir, according to the Downtown State College Improvement District.
Free cookies and hot drinks will be served, as well, the DID noted.
