Ahead of Penn State’s Big Ten Championship tilt with Oregon on Saturday, a rematch for the two programs has been scheduled, the Big Ten announced. The Nittany Lions are set to host the Ducks on Sept. 27, 2025, a game that could present itself as a potential White Out option.

The Big Ten will release its full conference schedule at 2 p.m. ET on Wednesday.

Penn State has already locked in contests against Nevada on Aug. 30, Florida International on Sept. 6 and Villanova on Sept. 13. Dates have not yet been assigned, but the Nittany Lions will also face these Big Ten teams: Ohio State (away), Indiana, Iowa (away), Michigan State (away), Nebraska, Northwestern, Rutgers (away) and UCLA (away).

How exactly could Penn State’s clash with Oregon earn a prime-time, White Out designation? NBC would have to earn the rights.

As the primary media rights holder of the Big Ten Network, Fox holds priority in an annual draft between networks. That makes it most likely that Fox and its Big Noon Kickoff slot would have the opportunity to select this game. But there’s still a chance for CBS and its 3:30 p.m. slot and NBC and its prime time slot, depending on how the draft shapes up.
