Khalil Dinkins is looking to extend Penn State’s streak of tight ends drafted to the NFL, joining the ranks of Mike Gesicki, Pat Freiermuth, Brenton Strange, Theo Johnson and Tyler Warren in recent years.
However, Dinkins’ college production lags behind his predecessors, as he split reps with both Luke Reynolds and Andrew Rappleyea in 2025. He did haul in 14 catches for a career-best 167 yards and two touchdowns, bringing his college totals to 37 receptions for 399 yards and seven scores.
The former three-star recruit spent five seasons as a Nittany Lion, establishing himself as a red-zone threat and a physical and willing blocker. He also brings a large frame and put up solid testing numbers, potentially earning himself some interest.
Though Dinkins was sick and didn’t participate in Penn State’s Pro Day, he was invited to the NFL Scouting Combine, where he was able to show off his physical traits.
